The Unmatched Prestige of Authentic Real Stone
There is no substitute for millions of years of geological pressure and heat. When you choose natural thin stone veneer for your property, you are selecting a material where no two pieces are exactly alike.
Natural stone is the ultimate choice for luxury homes, custom fireplaces, and distinguished commercial properties because of its inherent benefits:
100% Unique Aesthetics: Distinct veining, organic textures, and deep, rich colors that fade naturally over time without ever looking artificial.
Extreme Durability: Natural stone can withstand the harshest Oregon rainstorms, freezing temperatures, and blazing sun without deteriorating or losing its structural integrity.
High Property ROI: Natural stone siding and fireplaces significantly increase property value, signaling high-end construction to buyers and appraisers.
Variety of Profiles: From the rugged, heavy charm of granite and basalt to the classic, sophisticated appeal of limestone, quartzite, and bluestone.
Master Masons for a Masterpiece Material
Installing natural stone is an art form. Unlike manufactured stone, natural rock is heavier, denser, and irregular in shape. It cannot simply be glued to a wall by an amateur.
At Precise Line LLC, our craft-driven process guarantees a flawless, permanent hold:
Structural Reinforcement: We evaluate your substrate and install heavy-duty metal lath and scratch coats specifically graded for the weight of genuine stone.
Custom Cutting & Shaping: Our masons use specialized diamond-blade tools to precisely shape each irregular piece of rock so it fits perfectly with its neighbor, creating a seamless puzzle.
Artisan Mortaring: We use high-adhesion masonry mortars and offer various joint styles (overgrout, raked, or flush) to match your home’s historic or modern architectural style.
Absolute Cleanliness: Working with real stone creates dust. We use advanced dust-control systems, especially for indoor fireplace projects, keeping your home spotless.

Frequently Asked Questions About Natural Stone Veneer
What is the difference between natural and manufactured stone veneer?
Natural stone veneer is 100% real rock quarried from the earth and cut thin (~1 to 1.5 inches thick) for installation. Manufactured stone is concrete poured into rubber molds and painted. Natural stone offers unparalleled durability and authenticity, while manufactured stone is lighter and generally more budget-friendly.
Is my wall strong enough to hold natural stone?
Because it is cut thin, natural stone veneer is much lighter than full-bed building stone. In most cases, it can be installed over standard wood framing, plywood, or drywall (internally) as long as we install the proper wire lath and mortar scratch coat system to distribute the weight.
Does natural stone fade over time?
No. Unlike manufactured stone which has a painted surface color, natural stone’s color goes all the way through the rock. It will never fade in the sun and is highly resistant to scratching or chipping.
